Bees Host Sacramento In Final Stretch

SALT LAKE CITY (Sept. 22, 2021) – The Salt Lake Bees begin the Triple-A Final Stretch as they host the Sacramento River Cats (Triple-A San Francisco Giants) for the final five home games of the season beginning on Thursday, Sept. 23 at Smith’s Ballpark.

Triple-A Final Stretch is the 2021 postseason tournament format. Among the 30 Triple-A clubs a single 2021 Triple-A Final Stretch Winner will be crowned based on the highest overall winning percentage during the 10-game stretch. Minor League Baseball will also donate $50 for each home run the Bees hit during the stretch to the Sons of Baseball Foundation.

    Friday, Sept. 24 vs. Sacramento River Cats, 6:35 p.m.

  • Fan Appreciation Night.

Saturday, Sept. 25 vs. Sacramento River Cats, 6:35 p.m.

  • Salt Lake Trappers 1991 team reunion, celebrating the 30th anniversary of the club’s final Pioneer League Championship.

Sunday, Sept. 26 vs. Sacramento River Cats, 1:05 p.m.

  • Safe in the SUNday presented by University of Utah Health.

    Monday, Sept. 27 vs. Sacramento River Cats, 6:35 p.m.

  • Smith’s Family Night. Fans can purchase four tickets for $20 on slbees.com and hot dogs are $1 each.

  • Final home game of the 2021 season.

The Bees have several players looking to finish the year at the top of the league leaderboard as the season winds down. Michael Stefanic currently leads in batting average (.349) and on-base percentage (.423). Stefanic is trying to become the fifth league batting champion in franchise history and the first since 2014. Jake Gatewood sits second in the league with 28 home runs, 50 extra base hits and 79 RBIs.
