The Salt Lake Bees broke open a close game with eleven runs over the three inning stretch and went on to a 12-2 rout of the Oklahoma City Dodgers on Saturday night. The game was tied at 1-1 when the Bees scored four in the fifth, three in the sixth and four more in the seventh. Matt Thaiss broke the tie in the fifth with a run-scoring groundout. Later in the inning, Michael Stefanic delivered a two run single and Jon Jay followed with an RBI single. Jo Adell provided the scoring in the sixth with a three run homer, his 17th of the season. Salt Lake would close out the scoring in the seventh with a leadoff homer by Stefanic, an RBI double by Jack Mayfield and a two run single by Adell.

Salt Lake starter Dillon Peters went four and one-third innings before being hit in the left knee by a comebacker and leaving the game. He had allowed an unearned run on three hits with five strikeouts and two walks. Jake Petricka (2-0) picked up the win in relief, as he, A.J. Ramos, Zac Ryan and Jose Quijada combined to keep the Dodgers off the board over the final four innings. Adell led the Bees' attack with two hits and five runs batted in. Stefanic added three hits and three RBI, while Mayfield chipped in with three hits, two runs and one RBI.
