Fletcher Leads Bees Into Series Against ABQ

SALT LAKE CITY (May 20, 2018) - After splitting a four-game series against the Sacramento River Cats, the first-place Salt Lake Bees will hit the road for a four-game set versus the Albuquerque Isotopes starting Monday night at Isotopes Park.

SALT LAKE CITY (May 20, 2018) - After splitting a four-game series against the Sacramento River Cats, the first-place Salt Lake Bees will hit the road for a four-game set versus the Albuquerque Isotopes starting Monday night at Isotopes Park.

Led by infielder David Fletcher, who leads the Pacific Coast League in hits, extra-base hits, doubles, runs scored, total bases and lowest plate appearances per strikeout, the Bees continue to terrorize PCL pitching. Rymer Liriano comes into the series against Albuquerque having blasted three homeruns in the Bees' last two games.
So far into the 2018 season, the Bees pitching staff has fared better on the road, with a 5.00 ERA as opposed to a 6.73 ERA at Smith's Ballpark. They've also held opposing batters to an average of .273 compared to .318 at home. 
Against the Isotopes this season, the Bees are 7-5, including a This will be the final series between the two teams of the 2018 season. 
Following the conclusion of the series with the Isotopes, the Bees will return home Friday, May 25th to host the Reno Aces. The promotional schedule will be highlighted by the Saturday, May 26th contest in which the Bees will host Military Appreciation Night. All active and former members of the armed forces will receive two complimentary tickets, with the option to purchase more tickets at 50 percent off. Fireworks are scheduled for postgame.
