SALT LAKE CITY (Aug. 29, 2018) - Matt Thaiss delivered a walk-off single to give the Salt Lake Bees a 4-3 win in 10 innings over the Reno Aces.
The two teams entered extra innings tied up at 3, but in the top half of the inning Bees reliever Jeremy Rhoades was able to strand the extra innings runner at second and escape the extra inning without any damage. In the bottom half of the inning the Bees loaded the bases for Thaiss who lined the first pitch of the at-bat into right field to score Stephen McGee and give the Bees the victory.
