San Jose, CA- San Jose Giants second baseman Jalen Miller has been named to the 2018 California League Postseason All-Star Team.  Miller is the Giants sole representative this year and was also named to the mid-season All-Star team.

Jalen Miller was drafted by the San Francisco Giants in the third round of the 2015 draft. He made his debut with the San Jose Giants last season at age 20, making him one of the youngest players in the league. This season, Miller is hitting .283 with 13 HRs and 61 RBI. He's in the top five of the California League in both hits (131) and total bases (207). He set new career bests for batting average, home runs, doubles and RBI. He also was one of the best defensive middle infielders in the league, recording 249 assists and 72 double plays while committing only 14 errors.

"This is an incredible achievement for Jalen to be recognized as a 2018 California League Post Season All-Star", said Lipso Nava, Manager of the San Jose Giants. "It is a testament to the dedication and love Jalen has for his craft, and it's shown in every facet of his game this year. A truly well-deserved recognition."
