As everyone makes their way through these challenging times, we know you have questions about RailRiders baseball. Please read on to learn more about what is happening at PNC Field this season.

Will the RailRiders be playing this year?

Yes! The current plan has our season opening on May 4 and running through September 19. Keep in mind, though, that all plans are subject to change due to MLB, state and CDC guidelines.



Will fans be allowed to attend the games?

Yes, but to begin the 2021 season, attendance to games at PNC Field will be limited due to MLB, state and CDC guidelines. On June 1, 2021, PNC Field returns to 100% capacity.



What teams will the RailRiders play in 2021?

To reduce travel and potential exposure for players and staff, the RailRiders will only play teams within their Triple-A East Northeast division this year. The team will host and play road games against the Buffalo Bisons (Toronto), Lehigh Valley IronPigs (Philadelphia Phillies), Syracuse Mets (New York Mets), Worcester Red Sox (Boston) and the Rochester Red Wings (Washington).



Will I be able to get autographs this year?

Due to MLB, CDC and state distancing guidelines, players will not be signing autographs. This policy is subject to change as restrictions are altered or lifted.



Are tickets on sale?

Yes! Single-game tickets are on sale now for the entire season, though seating capacity remains limited during the month of May. Season Ticket Memberships and Group Outings are also available for the 2021 season. Call (570) 969-2255 for more information or click HERE to have us contact you! Walk-up tickets are also not available at this time. These policies and restrictions are subject to change throughout the course of the season.

What health precautions are being used at PNC Field?

Mask Policy (Beginning May 25)

  • Vaccinated fans do not need to wear a mask unless they choose to do so.
  • Unvaccinated fans must continue to mask at all times.

Enhanced cleaning procedures will be put in place throughout the ballpark during the 2021 season. Restrooms will be cleaned and sanitized frequently and will operate with social distancing guidelines in place. Wall-mounted and free-standing hand sanitizing stations will be made available in each area of the ballpark and restocked appropriately.

The seating area will have seating pods and six-foot social distancing procedures for the month of May. PNC Field returns to 100% capacity on June 1, 2021.

Social distancing will be enforced during entrance and exit and also in concession lines at PNC Field.

PNC Field will be cashless in 2021.



What is the bag policy at PNC Field in 2021?

Clear bags will be permitted in 2021. In addition, fans may only bring medical bags, diaper bags or small wristlets into the ballpark this season.



What is the policy for smoking at PNC Field?

PNC Field is a smoke-free facility. Designated smoking areas have been temporarily suspended due to COVID-19 concerns, but will be reinstated on June 1, 2021.



Will concession stands be open during the 2021 season?

Concession stands will be open during the 2021 season. Concession stands and menus may be limited due to capacity and distancing restrictions. Additional health and safety protocols will be in place, including social distancing in lines.



Will I have to use mobile tickets?

Tickets for the 2021 season can be accessed via mobile devices.



How do I pay for parking in 2021?

Parking attendants will be accepting credit and debit card payments during entry. No cash will be accepted.



Are the hospitality and group areas available this season?

I have vouchers for tickets from the 2020 season. When can I redeem them?

Vouchers will be eligible for games during the 2021 season when PNC Field resumes at 100% capacity on June 1, 2021.



What happens to my season tickets?

Season Ticket Members will have priority access to games for the 2021 season.



How do I pick up my tickets?

All tickets will come to you via email. If you do not have an updated email on file, please contact your ticket sales representative.



I have a RailRiders Season Ticket Membership. Can I sit in my regular seat?

As MLB, State and CDC restrictions and guidelines remain in place for May, you will not be able to sit in your seat for the 2021 season. Everyone joining us at PNC Field will be seated in socially distanced pods based on availability.
