The Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders, Triple-A affiliate of the New York Yankees, are pleased to announce that Tim Raines has been added to the lineup for the 2018 Legends Series at PNC Field presented by Nasser Limousine in conjunction with Steiner Sports. Raines will appear Saturday, June 9 for a 6:35 p.m. first pitch against the Louisville Bats.

Raines earned All-Star Game selections in each of his first seven full seasons with the Montreal Expos. He won the NL batting title in 1986 with a .334 average, led the league in stolen bases from 1981-1984 and in runs scored in 1983 and 1987. After 13 years in Montreal, Raines was traded to the Chicago White Sox where he played for five seasons before heading to New York. In the Bronx, Raines helped the Yankees to World Series Championships in 1996 and 1998.

During his 23-year career, Raines recorded 2,605 hits, 980 RBI and a .294 batting average. His 808 career stolen bases ranks fifth all-time and he finished his career with the highest SB percentage of any player with 400+ steals.
