BUFFALO, N.Y. (May 19, 2018) - The Buffalo Bisons jumped out to a four-run lead in the first inning, and it was 9-1 before the game had even gotten to the 5th inning as the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders lost 9-2 for a second straight game to begin their three-game series.

The RailRiders got on the board with single runs in the 3rd and 8th innings to account for the lone offense of the day. Eight of the nine batters for the RailRiders had one hit, with L.J. Mazzilli's 3rd-inning home run being the bright spot Saturday afternoon.

Though the Buffalo Bisons notched a season-high in runs allowed by RailRiders pitching, the bullpen pitched very well for SWB. Cale Coshow, Raynel Espinal and Oliver Pérez combined for 5.2 innings out of the bullpen with two hits and the lone run being a solo homer by Reece McGuire in the 4th inning off Coshow.
Justin Dillon shut down the RailRiders over seven innings in what was just his second career Triple-A start. Over the two games of this series, Dillon and Friday's starter Ryan Borucki have combined for 14.0 innings with seven hits and one run allowed.
The RailRiders and Bisons complete their three-game series at Coca-Cola Field Sunday afternoon with a 1:05 p.m. scheduled first pitch. Pregame coverage begins at 12:35 p.m. with Adam Marco and Adam Giardino.
