(Manchester, N.H.) - Brad Glenn delivered a walk-off sacrifice fly with one out in the ninth inning, lifting the New Hampshire Fisher Cats (19-21) past the Portland Sea Dogs (22-15), 5-4 on Wednesday night at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium. With the loss, Portland dropped their first road series of the season, and fell to 2-4 on their 7-game roadtrip.

Trailing 4-1, Portland scored three times off Joel Carreno (2-1) in the ninth inning. Michael Almanzar scored on a wild pitch, and Peter Hissey tied the game with a two-out, two-run single to left. Despite the blown save, Carreno earned his second win of the season.

Ryan Schimpf drew his fifth walk of the night and Clint Robinson hit into a fielder's choice, sending Zazueta to third base. Glenn's sac-fly was caught on the warning track by center fielder Shannon Wilkerson.

Portland's pitchers set a franchise record with 14 walks. Starter Charlie Haeger walked seven over five innings. The knuckleballer gave up two runs on two hits, while fanning four. Daniel Bard issued five walks over 1+ innings and Latimer walked two.

Deck McGuire was effective in his start for New Hampshire. The righty yielded six hits, one run on two walks and eight strikeouts over six frames. Portland had five of their eight hits off McGuire in the first 3 innings, but stranded five base runners.

Portland took a 1-0 lead against McGuire in the second. Christian Vazquez began the rally with a one-out single and advanced to third base on a double by Heiker Meneses. Hissey delivered a sac-fly to right field, giving Portland their first lead of the series.

New Hampshire took a 2-1 lead off Hager in the fifth. John Tolisano smacked the first pitch of the inning over the right-center field wall, his third homer of the season. Kevin Pillar followed with a walk and scored on Nanita's double.

Bard relieved Haeger in the sixth inning and allowed two runs, extending New Hampshire's lead to 4-1. Bard walked Adam Loewen and Sean Ochinko and then uncorked a wild pitch to start the inning. Tolisano delivered a run-scoring single to right field and Ochinko scored on a double play. Bard left the game in the seventh inning after three walks and a wild pitch. He allowed two runs, one hit and five walks over 1+ inning.
