Harrisburg Family Invests in Harrisburg Senators

The Harrisburg Senators announced that Dan and Michael Schwab (co-Presidents of D & H Distributing) along with their sister Amy Silfen have joined the Senators ownership group as minority owners. The two further enhance the Senators local ownership group led by Mark Butler (President & CEO, Ollie's Bargain Outlet).

"I am thrilled that Dan and Michael Schwab and their sister Amy Silfen have joined the ownership group of the Harrisburg Senators," said Mark Butler, principal owner of the Senators. "I have personally known them for years and I am looking forward to our partnership. Local ownership and involvement is paramount to the success of a minor league baseball team. Their passion for baseball and the Harrisburg area will without a doubt allow Central PA to remain as one of the top minor league markets in the country."
Dan Schwab has been involved in the Harrisburg community for many years. He co-founded the Harrisburg Young Professionals Organization as has been a member of the Harrisburg Univeristy board of trustees. Dan is a Wharton School University of Pennsylvania Undergraduate Executive Board Member. Dan has also won the City of Harrisburg Mayor's Award for Distinguished Public Service. Michael Schwab currently serves on the board of trustees at the University of Maryland and is on the Parent's Council at the University of Michigan. Amy Silfen is on the D & H Distributing board of directors. 
The three will add their vision to the local ownership group of the Senators which continues to make improvements to FNB Field and the Senators overall entertainment offerings. 
The Senators offices are open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily during the offseason. The 2018 home opener is Friday, April 13 against the Bowie Baysox.
