The Senators rallied from a late 7-5 deficit, scoring a run in the eighth and two in the ninth to beat Reading 8-7. It was the Senators league leading fifth win when trailing after eight innings.
The rally made a winner out of Braulio Lara, who pitched a scoreless eighth innings. Lara is now 2-2 on the season.
The Sens had an early 4-0 lead after scoring two in the first and two in the third. The two in the third came on a two-run home run by Dan Gamache.
The winning runs scored in the ninth on an infield single by Victor Robles that was coupled with a throwing error.
Andrew Robinson pitched a scoreless ninth to record his sixth save of the season.
The Senators pounded out 18 hits, matching their season-high. Gamache led the way with four hits and Corban Joseph had three. Sixteen of the hits were singles with only the only extra base hits being a double and the home run by Gamache.
Wirkin Estevez started for the Senators and contributed two hits, going two-for-two at the plate. Every Sens starter had at least one hit in the game.
