Al Bumbry Coming to Perdue Stadium on May 19

Salisbury, Md. - Baltimore Orioles Hall of Famer Al Bumbry is scheduled to make a special appearance at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium during the Shorebirds game on Sunday, May 19. Don't miss your chance to meet Bumbry and get an autograph!

Bumbry played for the Orioles from 1972-1984. He was the 1972 American League Rookie of the Year after hitting .337 with seven home runs and 34 RBIs. During his 14-year major league career, Bumbry batted .281 with 54 home runs.

In 1980, Bumbry was selected to the American League All-Star Team. He hit .318 with a career best nine home runs that season.

Bumbry will be signing autographs and talking to fans during the game on the second level concourse of the stadium.
