Bark in the Park, Fireworks, Giveaways! August 7-13

SALISBURY, Md. -- The Delmarva Shorebirds return home to Arthur W. Perdue Stadium for a seven game homestand consisting of a three game series against the Hagerstown Suns, affiliate of the Washington Nationals, and a four game series with the Lakewood BlueClaws, affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies, from Monday, August 7th through Sunday, August 13th.

The homestand starts on Monday, August 7th with a 47 ABC 2 Buck Monday. Enjoy $2 Upper Reserved tickets, $2 hotdogs, and $2 16 oz. fountain Pepsi products.

Bark in the Park is on Tuesday, August 8th, in partnership with Delmarva Unleashed. Fans can bring their canine friends to Arthur W. Perdue Stadium to enjoy a Shorebirds game. Dogs are admitted free with a donation to the Humane Society of Wicomico County. August 8th is also McDonald's Two for Tuesday. Bring a McDonald's receipt to the box office for a buy one, get one free offer on Shorebirds Upper Reserved tickets. In addition, for each receipt redeemed at the Shorebirds box office, the Shorebirds will donate $1 to the Ronald McDonald House.

Wednesday, August 9th is Silver Slugger Wednesday, brought to you by Coastal Home Care. The Silver Slugger program is limited to Shorebirds fans that are age 55 and over. Also, the first 1,000 fans through the gates will be able to play Baseball Bingo.

The Lakewood BlueClaws come to town on Thursday, August 10th. The Shorebirds will be wearing their Maryland Pride Jerseys. Sport your Maryland Pride gear to show your support! It's also KISS 95.9 Thirsty Thursday, presented by University Village at Salisbury. Fans over 21 years of age can enjoy 16 oz. cans of Miller Lite and Coors Light; as well as, 16 ounce Pepsi fountain drinks for just $2.

A fantastic Q105 fireworks show has just been added on Friday, August 11th, presented by Market Street Inn and MoJo's. Also, the first 1,000 fans through the gates on Friday, August 11th will receive a Mini Sherman Bobblehead. One Mini Sherman bobblehead item per person will be given to the bearer of the ticket upon entering the stadium. The Shorebirds will be wearing their Orange Friday jerseys. Show your support by sporting orange, as well. It's also Froggy 99.9 Big Beer Friday. Fans over the age of 21 can enjoy 32 oz. Miller Lite & Coors Light draft beers for $6.

Saturday, August 12th is Mountaire Farms Family Night with a postgame Q105 fireworks show, presented by Mountaire Farms.

The homestand finishes up on Sunday, August 13th with a Sherman Emoji T-Shirt giveaway to the first 500 kids 12 and under, presented by Maryland EXCELS. The Shorebirds will be hosting kids from participating Virginia and Delaware libraries who complete the Summer Reading Program, presented by Maryland529. It is also a Perdue Strike Out Hunger Sunday, bring 2 canned food items to the Shorebirds box office and receive an upper reserved ticket for $3. All collected items will be donated to the local area food banks. Kids can run the bases after the game, thanks to Chili's Grill & Bar.

All the Shorebirds home games between Monday, August 7th and Saturday, August 12th are scheduled for a 7:05 PM first pitch. Gates will open at 6:00 PM Monday through Saturday. On Sunday, August 13th, gates will open at 4:00 PM with first pitch scheduled for 5:05 PM.
