Countdown to Opening Night Kicks Off on March 15th

SALISBURY, Md. -- Baseball is close to being back on Delmarva! The Delmarva Shorebirds are preparing for Opening Night on Thursday, April 5th by creating excitement around Delmarva with the Countdown to Opening Night campaign, kicking off on Thursday, March 15th. 
Fans will be able to win prizes, receive special offers, and participate in contests on social media, so make sure to like the Shorebirds on Facebook (Delmarva Shorebirds), follow us on Twitter (@shorebirds), Instagram (@shorebirds), and Snapchat (shorebirdsmilb). There will also be information put out on social media regarding the different tour stops and other events during the Countdown to Opening Night.
Here's the complete schedule for the Shorebirds' Countdown to Opening Night:
Thursday, March 15th- Individual game tickets go on sale! Save Time. Buy Online. Pick Your Seats. Print at Home at www.theshorebirds/tickets. The Shorebirds' first tour stop will be at Buffalo Wild Wings at 2734 North Salisbury Blvd., Salisbury, MD 21801 from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM. Come by to win some Shorebirds swag and enjoy watching the March Madness games!
Friday, March 16th- The Shorebirds will be giving away prizes at Chili's Grill & Bar at 2750 North Salisbury Blvd., Salisbury, MD 21801 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Saturday, March 17th- Usually, we encourage you to wear black and orange but this day we would love for you to wear green and come see Sherman at the Ocean City St. Patrick's Day Parade.
Sunday, March 18th- Stay tuned to the Shorebirds' Facebook and Instagram for a Caption Contest for your chance to win prizes!
Monday, March 19th- Help the Shorebirds choose a song to play this season when the Shorebirds win! We will be asking our fans for their input on Facebook.
Tuesday, March 20th- Win prizes by guessing the correct number of items on the Shorebirds' Facebook page, presented by Avery Hall Insurance.
Wednesday, March 21st- Tour Stop, TBD
Thursday, March 22nd- Stop by to enjoy some lunch and win some swag at the new Arby's location at 31942 Summer Drive, Salisbury, MD 21804 from Noon-2:00 PM.
Friday, March 23rd- Celebrate the end of the week with a frozen treat and prizes from the Shorebirds at DQ Grill & Chill at 2611 North Salisbury Blvd., Salisbury, MD 21801 from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM.
Saturday, March 24th- The Delmarva Shorebirds and Crown Sports Center are excited to announce the return of last year's popular event, the Froggy 99.9 Easter Fest. The indoor event will be held at Crown Sports Center, a proud partner of the Shorebirds, on Saturday, March 24th from 9:30 AM until noon. Crown Sports Center is located at 28410 Crown Road in Fruitland, Maryland. The Froggy 99.9 Easter Fest is open to the public and admission is free of charge. For more info click HERE.

Saturday, March 31st- Come out to the Berlin Walmart at 11416 Ocean Gateway, Berlin, MD 21811 from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM to win some free swag!

"We are really amped up about this upcoming season. Our staff has worked hard over the offseason to boost our promotional schedule and we think the fans will really appreciate it.
