Game Postponed at Perdue Stadium

Shorebirds and Suns to play doubleheader on Wednesday

Salisbury, MD - Game two of a three-game series between the Delmarva Shorebirds and Hagerstown Suns has been postponed due to rain. The game will be rescheduled as part of a doubleheader on Wednesday, April 16th.

The first game of the doubleheader will start at 5:05 pm on Wednesday evening. The doubleheader will consist of two seven-inning games. Gates will open at 4:30 pm at Perdue Stadium. 

Tickets for Tuesday, April 15th will need to be exchanged at the box office. Tickets for Wednesday will be good for both games of the doubleheader. The Silver Sluggers pre-game party will be rescheduled to a later date. All Silver Slugger tickets will be accepted for both games Wednesday.

Shorebirds' right-hander and Orioles' first round pick Hunter Harvey (1-0, 1.64) will start game one of the doubleheader for Delmarva. Left-hander Steven Brault (1-1, 7.20) will get the ball for game two. The Suns have yet to annouce their probable starters with the rescheduled games. Hagerstown had originally scheduled Nationals' top prospect Lucas Giolito (1-0, 3.38) to pitch Wednesday against Harvey.
