Game Postponed at Perdue Stadium

Doubleheader scheduled for Wednesday

Tuesday's game between the Shorebirds and Suns has been postponed due to rain. ( )

Salisbury, MD - Tuesday's game between the Delmarva Shorebirds and the Hagerstown Suns has been postponed due to rain at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Wednesday, August 13th with first pitch at 4:35 pm.

The doubleheader will consist of two seven-inning contests. Game one will start at 4:35 pm, while the second game will begin approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first contest. Gates will open at 4:00 pm at Perdue Stadium.

This will be the final meeting of the season between Delmarva and Hagerstown. The Shorebirds will turn to left-hander Mitch Horacek (5-10, 3.98) in game one against Suns' righty Reynaldo Lopez (2-1, 2.19). Game two will feature Shorebirds' right-hander Dariel Delgado (0-2, 3.65) against Suns' righty Matt Swynenberg (0-0, 0.00).
