MC Eric Sichau Joins Front Office Staff

Salisbury, MD - The Delmarva Shorebirds are excited to announce the addition of stadium emcee, Eric Sichau, to the full-time front office staff. As of October 1, he is now a Ticket Sales Representative for the Shorebirds. He will remain in his role of stadium emcee when the 2014 season begins.

Sichau will be responsible for assisting the Shorebirds ticketing department in all areas including sales, operations and more.

Although he embarks on his first year as a full-time employee, Sichau is no stranger to Arthur W. Perdue Stadium. During the spring and summer of 2012, he served as a general front office intern with a particular focus on marketing. During the 2013 season, he was an Inside Sales Representative for the Shorebirds and the stadium emcee.

Sichau graduated from Salisbury University in May of 2013. He is a lifelong resident of the Eastern Shore and currently resides in Berlin. Sichau attended Stephen Decatur High School. 

"We're excited to bring Eric onto the staff on a full-time basis," said Shorebirds general manager Chris Bitters. "He has proved himself with ever task we've ever assigned to him and we're eager to watch him succeed in this new role."
