Salisbury, MD - The Delmarva Shorebirds and the Hagerstown Suns have rescheduled the postponed game from Wednesday night to Monday, May 26th. The Shorebirds and Suns will now play two seven-inning games starting at 5:05 pm on Memorial Day at Perdue Stadium.
On Wednesday, the Shorebirds and Suns originally scheduled a doubleheader to make up for the rained out contest from Tuesday. The first half of the doubleheader went into extra innings, forcing a decision to be made regarding the second game. With the game remaining tied into the 12th inning, the second game was moved back to a later date.
In all, the game took 15 innings and 4 hours, 9 minutes to break the 0-0 tie. Delmarva won on a walk-off RBI single by Drew Dosch to score Trey Mancini.
