Shorebirds Play at Home from May 16-22

Salisbury, Md. - The Delmarva Shorebirds return to Arthur W. Perdue Stadium for a seven-game homestand from Thursday, May 16 through Wednesday, May 22. The Shorebirds have lined up exciting promotions, giveaways and a great fireworks show. Call 410-219-3112 to secure your tickets now!

The homestand begins on Thursday, May 16 with a 7:05pm game against the Hickory Crawdads (Rangers). The first 500 fans will receive a free Shorebirds green hat. Plus, it is another Kiss 95.9 Thirsty Thursday. Enjoy 12 oz. $1.50 Miller Lite and Coors Light draft beers. In addition, 12 oz. Pepsi products are also just $1.50 every Thursday home game.

The series continues on Friday, May 17 at 7:05pm. Help us celebrate Sherman's birthday with Sherman's Birthday Bash presented by Sherwood of Salisbury. Poe the Raven, the official mascot of the Baltimore Ravens and a slew of local mascots will be at Perdue Stadium to party with Sherman and fans. It's also a Froggy 99.9 Big Beer Friday. 32 oz. Miller Lite and Coors Light draft beers are just $6. Plus, it's a Hit the Books game presented by Dr. James M Crouse at The Brace Place.

Game three of the series against Hickory is scheduled for Saturday, May 18 at 7:05pm. Stick around after the game for a Q105 postgame fireworks extravaganza sponsored by the Delaware State Education Association. Also, the first 1,000 fans will receive a Shorebirds cup presented by the Delaware State Education Association. Plus, local students will be honored as part of the Hit the Books program presented by Dr. James M Crouse at The Brace Place.

The series against Hickory concludes on Sunday, May 19 at 2:05pm. Former Orioles center fielder Al Bumbry will be in attendance to meet fans and sign autographs. Bumbry was the 1972 American League Rookie of the Year and is in the Orioles Hall of Fame. Every Sunday is also a "Strike Out Hunger Sunday" so bring two canned food items to the Shorebirds Box Office and get a general admission ticket for just $2. The collected canned food items will be distributed to local food banks. Finally, all Junior Shorebirds Kids Club members get to run the bases after the game.

The Shorebirds open a three-game series against the Lakewood BlueClaws (Phillies) on Monday, May 20 at 7:05pm. It's a CW3 Delmarva 2 Buck Monday! Take advantage of $2 general admission tickets, $2 Esskay Hot Dogs and $2 Pepsi products. No coupons are necessary to receive the discounts.

The series continues on Tuesday, May 21 with first pitch at 7:05pm. It's McDonald's Two For Tuesday so bring a McDonald's receipt to the Shorebirds Box Office and receive a buy one general admission ticket, get one general admission ticket free deal!

The homestand concludes on Wednesday, May 22 with the second Field of Dreams game presented by Olive Garden. First pitch is scheduled for 10:35am. It's also a Silver Sluggers game sponsored by Riverside and Milford Street Pharmacy. All fans will have the chance to play baseball bingo!
