Shorebirds, Suns Opener Washed Out

Game to be made up as doubleheader Tuesday

SALISBURY, MD - Due to inclement weather across the Eastern Shore, Monday night's Delmarva Shorebirds game against the Hagerstown Suns has been postponed.

The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Tuesday evening. The first game begins at 5:05 p.m. and will last seven innings. The second game will begin approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first game and also last seven innings. The doubleheader is single admission and gates will open at 4:00 for the twin bill.

Matthias Dietz (2-8, 4.64) is expected to start for the Shorebirds in the first game on Tuesday night against the Suns' Ben Braymer (1-0, 1.50). Tuesday is Bark in the Park at Perdue Stadium; all dog owners are invited to bring their furry friends to the game. It's also a McDonald's Two for Tuesday; a McDonald's receipt will get you a buy one, get one free offer on Upper Reserved tickets at the box office. Pregame coverage of the first game on Fox Sports AM 960 and the MiLB First Pitch app begins at 4:50 p.m. with Will DeBoer on the call.
