Sign your kid(s) up for unique ballpark experiences at Perdue Stadium this summer

The Delmarva Shorebirds are offering kids four different unique experiences are Shorebirds games at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium. The 'ballpark experiences' are open to boys and girls ages seven through 12.

The four unique experiences are: Junior Groundskeeper, Junior Manager, The Sherman Mascot Race and The Play Ball Kid of the Game.

There is no fee associated with signing your son or daughter up for a ballpark experience.

Send an email to promo@theshorebirds.com with the following information: your name, your kids name and the best contact information. If your son or daughter is choosen, a Shorebirds staff person will contact you with all the details. Please put the name of the ballpark experience that your interested in on the subject line of the email.

Each kid will receive two free tickets to the Shorebirds game in which he or she is doing a ballpark experience and a participant promo code to share with friends & family to purchase online general admission tickets for the discounted price of $5.00 each.

Junior Groundskeeper - Chance to assist the Grounds Crew with watering the field, cleaning off home plate, and changing second base twice during the game.

Junior Manager - Be on the field during pregame activities. Accompany the coaches to home plate, and present the starting lineup card to the umpire. Have an opportunity to receive autographs from both coaches and umpires before the game.

Sherman Mascot Race - Be apart of the one of the most popular in-game promotions, the Sherman Mascot Race. A chance to race one of the Greats, Sherman the Shorebird.

Play Ball Kid of the Game - A chance to announce "Play Ball" over the PA system before the first pitch of the game. The Play Ball Kid of the Game is sponsored by Robinson's All Purpose Printing
