BILOXI, MS - The Milwaukee Brewers announced the following roster moves this afternoon. RHP Javi Salas has been transferred to Biloxi from extended spring training. C  Natanael Mejia  has been transferred to Helana from BiloxiSalas, 25, made 13 appearances, 12 starts for the Shuckers in 2016 going 3-2 with a 5.13 ERA, striking out 35

BILOXI, MS The Milwaukee Brewers announced the following roster moves this afternoon. RHP Javi Salas has been transferred to Biloxi from extended spring training. C  Natanael Mejia  has been transferred to Helana from Biloxi
Salas, 25, made 13 appearances, 12 starts for the Shuckers in 2016 going 3-2 with a 5.13 ERA, striking out 35 batters over 47.1 innings pitched. Salas was transferred to Class-A Brevard County on August 3 after two stints on the disabled list. Salas was a 2015 Florida State League All-Star and went 6-4 with a 2.41 ERA before the break. Salas graduated from the University of Miami (FL) and tossed a perfect game on March 4, 2014, against Villanova. The Coral Gables, FL native was selected by the Brewers in the 10th round of the 2014 draft.

 Mejia, 24, collected one at-bat for the Shuckers, striking out in a pinch-hit appearance, during Wednesday's day game. The San Pedro de Macoris, DR native was signed as a non-drafted free agent by the Brewers in 2010.

The Shuckers wrap up the first leg of the 10-game homestand tonight against the M-Braves. First pitch is scheduled for 6:35 pm, with the Beau Rivage Pregame Show starting at 6:15 pm on Cruisin' WGCM AM-1240/FM-100.9 and the Shuckers Radio Network. The game will also be available at biloxishuckers.com and TuneIn Radio.
