Meet the 2013 San Jose Giants at FanFest on April 2

Fans get early chance to meet 2013 players and coaches

SAN JOSE, CA- Members of the 2013 San Jose Giants will join Giants coaches and fans for the 6th Annual San Jose Giants FanFest at Municipal Stadium on Tuesday, April 2 from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM. It will be the first opportunity for fans and media to meet and see the 2013 roster and coaching staff. Admission and parking are FREE.

Manager Andy Skeels, along with his players and coaches, will be available to sign autographs, pose for pictures and answer questions from fans as part of a "Meet and Greet" at 5:30 PM.

Fans will also have the opportunity to watch the team practice beginning at 7:00 PM, enjoy their first bite of Turkey Mike's BBQ this season, purchase new merchandise and play in the Family Fun Zone.

For the third straight season, the San Jose Giants also have a special opportunity for fans wishing to take part in the exclusive 2013 Season Preview Media Event starting at 5:00 PM prior to FanFest. In order to be invited to this event, all fans need to do is purchase a 2013 season ticket or mini plan package before March 29. The San Jose Giants begin their 2013 season on Thursday, April 4 at Visalia with the home opener scheduled for Thursday, April 11 against the Rawhide. The Giants will also feature home games on Mother's Day (May 12), Memorial Day (May 27), Independence Day (July 4) and Labor Day (September 2).  On June 18, for the first time ever, Municipal Stadium will host the 2013 California-Carolina League All-Star Game.  Season tickets are available for purchase online at sjgiants.com, over the phone at (408) 297-1435 and in person at the Municipal Stadium Box Office Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
