San Jose Giants FanFest on Monday, March 31

Fans and media get first glimpse at team and improvements to Municipal Stadium

San Jose, CA- Members of the 2014 San Jose Giants will join Giants coaches and fans for the 6th Annual San Jose Giants FanFest at Municipal Stadium on Monday, March 31 from 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM. It will be the first opportunity for fans and media to meet and see the 2014 roster and coaching staff. The team will also unveil the 2014 Military Trading Card Set and a few members of the set are anticipated to be in attendance. Admission and parking are FREE.

Lenn Sakata, the all-time winningest manager in San Jose Giants and California League history, along with his players and coaches, will be available to sign autographs, pose for pictures and answer questions from fans as part of a "Meet and Greet" that begins at 5:15 PM.

Fans will also have the opportunity to watch the team practice, purchase 2014 merchandise and play in the Family Fun Zone.

For the fourth straight season, the San Jose Giants are offering fans the special opportunity to take part in the exclusive 2014 Season Preview Media Event starting at 4:30 PM prior to FanFest. In order to be invited to this event, all fans need to do is purchase a 2014 season ticket or mini plan package before March 27. For more information please call (408) 297-1435.

First pitch for the San Jose Giants home opener will take place at 7:00 PM on Thursday, April 10 against the Bakersfield Blaze. San Jose's 2014 season begins on Thursday, April 3.
