Fun-filled homestand includes the 11th Annual A Giant Luau, Italian Night, Japanese Heritage Night and a San Francisco Giants Charlie Brown Bobblehead giveaway

San Jose, CA- The San Jose Giants are back at Municipal Stadium for a thrilling homestand from August 14 through August 20. Our Giants will look to position themselves for a postseason run with seven crucial home contests. Our team takes on the Lancaster JetHawks in a four-game set before beginning a critical three-game weekend series against Northern Division foe the Visalia Rawhide. The combination of high-stakes baseball with some of the most exciting themed-nights, heritage nights, jersey auctions and giveaways of the season makes this a homestand fans will not want to miss.
The week-long affair offers fans their last chance to experience several of the most popular nights of the year including Student and Faculty Monday, Taste of Muni Tuesday, We Care Wednesday and Thursday's Baseball and Beer Taster. Thursday also offers the final Throwback Thursday pin giveaway featuring the San Jose Giants (1988-Present) pin. Fans who have collected all nine pins throughout the season will also receive the Commemorative Municipal Stadium 75th Anniversary Logo Pin and Box. Leading off heritage weekend, on Friday, is the 11th Annual A Giant Luau. Enjoy Hawaiian-themed food, music, booths, jerseys, fireworks and a special pig roasting ceremony at Turkey Mike's BBQ. Fans can bid on the lei-laden jerseys during an in-game silent auction and get them signed after the game. Saturday is Italian Night at Municipal Stadium. Fans can experience more themed food, music, jerseys and more. The first 1,000 fans will receive an Italian-inspired giveaway. Now, that's amore! The giveaways continue Sunday as the first 1,000 fans get a San Francisco Giants Charlie Brown Bobblehead. Sunday is also Japanese Heritage Night-a celebration with food, music and décor. Taste of Muni Tuesday:  Food connoisseurs everywhere can whet their whistle as Municipal Stadium transforms into a mouthwatering hotbed of delicious cuisines. The final Taste of Muni Tuesday features a "best of" highlighting all the favorite previous Taste of Muni items. Some popular returning options include specialty burgers, crab fries and more.  
OSH Merchant Game: Fans can pick up complimentary admission tickets to the game at their local, participating OSH stores one week prior to the game. We Care Wednesday: As part of the San Jose Giants #OurTown initiative, our team will welcome local non-profits to Municipal Stadium for the last We Care Wednesday of the 2017 regular season.
