SAN JOSE, CA- The San Jose Giants announced today all festivities surrounding the 2013 California-Carolina League All-Star Game at Municipal Stadium. On June 18, first pitch is scheduled for 7:35 PM, but the ballpark will be bustling with action well before the teams take the field.
All-Star FanFest will begin at 4:00 PM, with the ballpark gates opening at 3:30 PM. FanFest will be a unique opportunity for fans to meet and get autographs from top prospects from 18 major league affiliates. FanFest will be followed by the Home Run Derby at 5:30 PM. Top sluggers from both leagues will put their power on display to see who will be crowned the 2013 Home Run Derby Champion.
Following FanFest and the Home Run Derby, the teams will take the field for the 17th California-Carolina League All-Star Game. San Jose Giants manager Andy Skeels will lead the California League, while the manager for the Carolina League will be the 2012 champion Lynchburg Hillcats' skipper, Luis Salazar. After the last out is recorded, fans will be treated to a special Postgame Fireworks Extravaganza.

"On June 18 we intend to show everyone how proud we are of the 71 years of rich baseball tradition in the City of San Jose.
