After their first road trip of the 2017 season, the Colorado Springs Sky Sox play host to the two Pacific Coast League squads from the Volunteer State.

The Memphis Redbirds (top affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals) fly out to Colorado for a four-game series from 4/18-21, followed by the Nashville Sounds (top affiliate of the Oakland Athletics) coming to Security Service Field from 4/22-25.

The homestand begins with the first $2 Tuesday of the new season. Tickets, parking and all Coors products through the seventh inning are a budget-friendly $2 for the 6:40 p.m. tilt with St. Louis' top affiliate.

The first Wednesday home game of the season is also the first 11:00 a.m. start, which also means that it's the first of three Sky Sox Math Days. Gates open a special two hours before first pitch, so make sure your students are signed up for a different kind of math lesson.

The action returns under the lights Thursday at 6:40 p.m. for the first $3 Thirsty Thursday of the year. For every Thursday home game, a specialty craft brew will be on sale for $3 throughout the ballpark. Thursday's brew of the day is Sierra Nevada Pale Ale.

Friday's series finale with Memphis is the season's second Friday Night Fireworks event. After a baseball-themed show last week, April 21 will feature the music of Prince in memorium of the one-year anniversary of the Minnesota native's death.

On Saturday, the Sounds come to town for the first time this season, opening their series with a 4:00 p.m. matinee. April 22 also is a Spring Cleaning Giveaway, featuring an opportunity for fans to pick up past promotional giveaways. The first 1,000 to come through the gates will receive a ticket which can then be exchanged for a giveaway item of their choice (AVAILABILITY IS LIMITED). It is also Tax Relief Day, which means that fans get two free Upper Reserved tickets if proof of their most recent tax filing is shown.

On Sunday, April 23, the first pitch is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Prior to the game, team posters will be given away and fans will have the opportunity to get their poster signed by the entire team during a pregame autograph session from 12:00-12:30 p.m. Hot dogs cost 50 cents every Sunday, courtesy of Safeway, and it's the second Kids Club day of 2017, with members getting a chance to run the bases.

Monday, April 24, is the first ARC Community Ticket Day of the season. Be sure to stop by area ARC Thrift Stores for a chance to pick up free vouchers for the 6:40 game with the Sounds.

The homestand concludes with the second $2 Tuesday with first pitch set for 6:40 p.m.
