SALT LAKE CITY - With a 4-3 win over Las Vegas Saturday afternoon, the Salt Lake Bees captured the 2013 Pacific Coast League Pacific Conference Championship and will advance to the PCL Finals for the first time since the Salt Lake Stingers did so in 2002. The Bees will face the Omaha Storm Chasers, the 2013 PCL American Conference Champions, in a best-of-five series beginning on Tuesday, September 10 in Omaha.

The first two games of the PCL Finals will be played at Werner Park, home of the Omaha Storm Chasers, September 10-11. Salt Lake will host the final three games of the series September 13-15 (if necessary). Game times will be 6:35 p.m. for both Friday, September 13 and Saturday, September 14 while the game on Sunday, September 15 is scheduled to begin at 1:05 p.m. A postgame fireworks show will commence following the game on September 13.

This marks Salt Lake's fourth appearance in the PCL Finals in franchise history, including appearances in 1995, 2000 and 2002. The club's most recent appearance in 2002 resulted in a 3-1 series loss to Edmonton.

The winner of the PCL Finals will advance to the 2013 Gildan Triple-A National Championship Game to take on the winner of the International League on September 17 in a one-game, winner-takes-all contest at Coca-Cola Park, the home of the Lehigh Valley IronPigs, in Allentown, Pa. Should the Bees advance, it would mark the team's first ever appearance in the Triple-A National Championship Game.

Tickets to the PCL Finals will go on sale Monday, September 9 at 10 a.m. and are available at the Spring Mobile Ballpark box office, slbees.com, or by calling (801) 325-BEES. Tickets will only be sold for games guaranteed to be played.
