Mets Stadium to Host Winter Beer Festival
This year's festival will take place inside the stadium. The move into the stadium will give patrons a more enjoyable experience, better facilities and a great view overlooking the field.
The Beer Festival will feature unlimited beer samples of over 100 different specialty import and American craft beers from breweries like Blue Point, Cigar City, Green Flash, Dogfish Head, Southern Tier, Tequesta Brewing and more.
Enjoy live music from tribute bands, "Never Stop Believin", The Ultimate Journey Tribute Band and "Van Walen", A Tribute to Van Halen. There will also be food for purchase, table set-ups from art/craft vendors and local businesses. The first 800 attendees will receive a souvenir sample cup.
For the third consecutive year, The American Legion Post 318 will be the official non-profit organization of the Beer Festival. A portion of the proceeds from the Beer Festival will go directly to the American Legion. For years, the American Legion Post 318 has been helping veterans in need, donating to VA hospitals, sponsoring youth programs in the community and supporting service members returning home from active duty.
Tickets to the Winter Beer Festival are $30 and are limited. You must be at least 21 years old to attend. Tickets go on sale Friday, January 4th, 2013.
