St. Lucie Mets to Host Camp Amazin' on July 13

The St. Lucie Mets will host Camp Amazin', a free camp for physically and developmentally disabled children of any age, on Saturday, July 13th, 2013 at Tradition Field, 525 NW Peacock Blvd., and Port St. Lucie, FL.

The free camp will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Campers will receive instruction from St. Lucie Mets players, a camp t-shirt, lunch on the terrace, medal and a ticket to the Mets game held that night at 6:30 p.m.

Those who would like to participate must complete a registration form by Friday, July 8th . The form can be found on our website at www.stluciemets.com, under the "Fan Zone" tab.

Camp Amazin' was successfully established in 2010. St Lucie Mets players volunteered their time to teach baseball fundamentals to physically and developmentally disabled children. In its third year, Camp Amazin' promises to continue helping participants learn the fundamentals of baseball along with teaching the campers the lifelong traits of compassion and kindness.
