August 17, 2014

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. - Get ready to rumble on Friday night at Tradition Field.

While the St. Lucie Mets and Jupiter Hammerheads battle it out on the field, a pair of WWE NXT wrestling superstars will be in the house to entertain fans in the stands.

WWE NXT champion Adrian Neville and fellow NXT wrestler Corey Graves will be on hand Friday throwing out the first pitch, signing autographs, taking pictures and giving away prizes.

Neville and Graves are on the Treasure Coast promoting the WWE NXT event at Havert L. Fenn Center in Fort Pierce on Saturday night.

First pitch between the Mets and Hammerheads in game 1 of a doubleheader is at 4 p.m. Neville and Graves will throw out the first pitch before game 2.

Neville and Graves are the reigning NXT Tag Team champions.

The British-born Neville has held the title of WWE NXT champion since he defeated Bo Dallas at ArRIVAL on Feb. 27. It was the first show to stream live of WWE Network and it was the first-ever NXT Ladder Match. Neville's nickname is "The Man Who Gravity Forgot."

Graves, known for his vicious and attacking style, is the self-proclaimed "Savior of Misbehavior."

WWE NXT is a professional wrestling development branch of the WWE based in Orlando.

Friday is also Back to School Night. All students in Port St. Lucie get free admission to the game.
