SEVIERVILLE, TENNESSEE - Chicago Cubs pitcher Kyle Hendricks is expected to join the Smokies for a rehab start Monday night at Smokies Stadium. Brett Anderson is another Cubs pitcher on a rehab assignment who's expected to pitch after Hendricks in tonight's game.  
Hendricks pitched in game seven of the world series last season and was also the first Cubs pitcher to lead the league in ERA since 1938. But before all those accolades Hendricks was a dominant force for the Tennessee Smokies. Hendricks started 21 games for the Smokies in 2013, recording a 10-3 record with a 1.85 ERA. Hendricks finished third for the Cy Young award last season.
