Four Smokies named to North Division starting lineup
KODAK, Tenn. - Outfielder Matt Szczur, infielders Arismendy Alcantara and Christian Villanueva and pitcher Kyle Hendricks were named Monday to the tentative starting lineup for the Southern League North Division All-Star team. Their selection was announced by the Southern League of Professional Baseball and made by North Division and Jackson Generals manager Jim Pankovits.
Szczur will bat leadoff and play left field, Alcantara will bat second and start at shortstop and Villanueva will bat seventh, playing third base. Hendricks has been named the North Division's starting pitcher for the Wednesday, July 17th game.
The four starters will join Alberto Cabrera and Rafael Lopez on the North Division roster at Bragan Field at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville for the July 17th game.
