RAIN POSTPONES SMOKIES EVENING MATCHUP

Smokies Stadium to host doubleheader on Saturday

SEVIERVILLE, TN - The Tennessee Smokies' scheduled game Friday evening against the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp at Smokies Stadium has been postponed due to rain. The contest will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Saturday evening, with the first game scheduled for 5:30 p.m. ET. Gates open at 5:00

SEVIERVILLE, TN - The Tennessee Smokies' scheduled game Friday evening against the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp at Smokies Stadium has been postponed due to rain. The contest will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Saturday evening, with the first game scheduled for 5:30 p.m. ET. Gates open at 5:00 p.m and the first 1,000 fans will receive a Cubs World Championship blanket, presented by U.S Cellular. Game two will get underway approximately 30 minutes after first game's conclusion.
Fans with tickets for todays scheduled contest may redeem their tickets at the Smokies Ticket Office for any remaining 2017 Smokies home game. The club's full rainout policy can be found online at www.smokiesbaseball.com.
Todays matchup will be made up as part of a Saturday twinbill, with both games scheduled to last seven innings in regulation. The first game is slated for a 5:30 p.m. first pitch, with the second contest taking place approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one. Gates will open at 5:00 p.m. and tickets for that evening's regularly scheduled contest will be good for both matches.
