The Snappers jumped ahead 7-0 after the first two innings at Parkview Field on Saturday and rode the early momentum to a 10-3 victory and won their series against the Fort Wayne TinCaps. The win gave the Snappers consecutive victories for the first time since April 26 and 27. Beloit finished the road trip with a 4-2 record while winning their first two road series of the season at Lake County and Fort Wayne. Saturday night was Beloit's final of 12 total games against the Eastern Division in the First Half and went 6-6 during inter-division play.

For the second night in a row, Beloit scored three times in the first inning. The Snappers needed only four pitches to take a 1-0 lead thanks to a lead-off triple by Trace Loehr and an RBI-single by Luke Persico. After a walk by Nate Mondou, Luis Barrera smoked a doubled to the center field wall to score two more runs. The Snappers erupted for four runs in the second with four straight hits highlighted by a two-run double by Persico. Edwin Diaz and Collin Theroux each hit their fifth homers of the season in the win, both to deep left field.
Dalton Sawyer worked four innings and allowed one unearned run on just one hit. Sawyer walked home Fort Wayne's first run of the night in the third inning. The TinCaps loaded the bases that inning on a pair of walks and a fielding error by Trace Loehr. Heath Bowers allowed a pair of runs in the sixth after a working a scoreless fifth, breaking up a stretch of nine and two-thirds consecutive scoreless innings.
Persico finished the night 2-for-5 with three RBI, all in the first two innings. Loehr had a season-high three hits in five tries and scored twice. The Snappers also had multiple hits from Barrera, Theroux, and Diaz. Entering play with the fewest stolen bases in the Midwest League, Beloit was aggressive again on the bases by converting three stolen bases on five attempts. The Snappers have now stolen six bags in their last two games.
