Beloit Snappers Homestand Highlights: August 10-17

BELOIT, WI - The Beloit Snappers will embark on an eight-game homestand with their final four games against the Clinton LumberKings (Seattle Mariners) and the final visit to Beloit in 2017 by the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers (Milwaukee Brewers). The Snappers finished their last homestand with a 5-2 record and are 12-7 at home in the second half to make a push towards the playoffs. Beloit is just a 1 1/2 games behind regaining a playoff spot with the Western Division second half wild card.
Fireworks will light up the night after Saturday's game while Sunday, August 13th will be the third and final bobblehead giveaway. Sunday's bobblehead is of 2013 infielder Renato Núñez, who made his Major League debut with the Oakland Athletics in September 2016 and currently leads all of Minor League Baseball in home runs. Thirsty Thursday opens and concludes the eight-game stretch as the entire selection of draft beers on special for just $2. Between those two Thursdays, each daily special will be on display while the final Friday night game on August 11th will run a walk-up Hog Heaven special for $30.
