Beloit Snappers Homestand Highlights: June 16-18

Snappers complete the First Half of the 2017 season this weekend

BELOIT, WI - For the second time in as many weekends, the Snappers will host the Quad Cities River Bandits, Class-A affiliate of the Houston Astros. The upcoming three games will conclude the First Half of the 2017 season and the Snappers will not have a home game until the final day of June after Sunday's contest.

This short homestand will feature the second fireworks display of the season on Saturday night when the Snappers sport special Hawaiian uniforms to go the theme of Snapperitaville. The first bobblehead of the season will be handed out on Father's Day and rally towels will be the giveaway to open the homestand on Friday night.


Friday June 16, 7:00 p.m. vs. Quad Cities River Bandits (Houston Astros)

  • GATES OPEN: 6:00 p.m.
  • SSM Health and Wellness Night
  • Rally Towel Giveaway (all giveaways are subject to limited supplies)
  • More For Your Money Friday
    • 4 general admission tickets, 4 hot dots, 4 fountain soft drinks, 1 cotton candy, and a box of popcorn for just $40

Saturday June 17, 7:00 p.m. vs. Quad Cities River Bandits (Houston Astros)

  • GATES OPEN: 6:00 p.m.
  • Snapperitaville Theme Night
  • Hawaiian Jersey Auction
    • Specialty, game-worn uniforms by the Snappers on Saturday will be auctioned off after the game
  • Hog Heaven on Right Field Deck
    • Fans can purchase walk-up tickets for the right field deck for $30, space is limited to deck capacity
    • This all-you-can-eat-and-drink special will be themed around Margaritaville, including a station to build your own "Cheeseburger in Paradise"
  • Postgame Fireworks presented by Ryan Plumbing & Heating
    • Our second fireworks spectacular soundtrack include your favorite island tunes by Jimmy Buffett

Sunday June 18, 2:00 p.m. vs. Quad Cities River Bandits (Houston Astros)

  • GATES OPEN: 1:00 p.m.
  • Bruce Maxwell Bobblehead Giveaway
    • Engman-Taylor Company presents the first bobblehead giveaway of the year featuring 2013 Beloit Snappers catcher Bruce Maxwell, all giveaways are subject to limited supplies
  • Father's Day Batting Practice
    • After the game, fans can take batting practice on the field with 10 swings for $10
    • Participants will be entered to take home one of two specialty bats signed by the Snappers
  • Mercyhealth Kid's Day
    • Kids age 12 and under can run the bases after the game while fans of all ages can play catch in right field
    • Culver's of Beloit Kids Club members get in for FREE
  • 2-for-1 BOGO Reserved Seats
    • Coupons in the Wednesday edition of the Stateline News, Janesville Messenger, and Walworth County Shopper will get you two reserved-seat tickets for the price of one

The Beloit Snappers have been a member of the Midwest League since 1982 and the Class-A affiliate of the Oakland Athletics since 2013. Partial-season ticket plans are still available for the 2017 season which can secure all giveaways including Bruce Maxwell (June 18), Chris Bosio (July 23), and Renato Nunez (August 13) bobbleheads.
