Coon Moves to Media Relations

Beloit Snappers President, Dennis Conerton, announced today the appointment of Robert "Bobby" Coon as Director of Media Relations for the organization. After spending the entire 2013 season as the Director of Food and Beverage he will be moving into the new role. "The opportunity has come along for Bobby to take on a position within the Snappers organization that allows him to better utilize his educational and professional background," said Conerton.

Bobby is a native of Williamsport, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania in 2012 with a Bachelor's Degree in Emerging Technology and Multimedia. His past work experiences include internships with ESPN's Sport Science and the Williamsport Crosscutters; single A short season affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies. He also worked for Backyard Broadcasting and ESPN Radio Williamsport.

He will be handling all of the statistics, press releases, game summaries, website updates, and all staff and player media requests. Bobby will also be in charge of different team marketing aspects such as radio, television, print, etc. as well as handling new and existing corporate partnership accounts.
