Last Chance for Hot Stove Tickets
BELOIT, WI - There is still time to purchase tickets for the Beloit Snappers 9th Annual Hot Stove Banquet on February 5th at the Eclipse Center. Monday, February 4th is the last day tickets will be available for this fantastic event that includes silent and live auctions and will benefit Beloit Meals on Wheels and the Pohlman Field Improvement Fund.
The banquet will feature Beloit College head baseball coach Dave DeGeorge as the keynote speaker. DeGeorge has been coaching Beloit College baseball since 1991 and is the program's all-time leader in wins.
The hot stove will also function as the Snappers first event in conjunction with the Oakland Athletics. Those in attendance will have the chance to meet the Athletics' Director of Minor League Operations, Ted Polakowksi, as well as the Snappers new manager, Ryan Christenson.
Tickets are on sale until 5pm on February 4th. Each $40 ticket includes dinner and the program for the evening along with two box seat ticket vouchers for any April Snappers home game in 2013. Tables of eight are also available for $300 ($37.50 per ticket). Tickets can be purchased over the phone by calling the Snappers' offices at 608-362-2272 or at Pohlman Field at 2301 Skyline Drive in Beloit. Tickets to the dinner and the program are non-refundable.
The Eclipse Center is located at 1701 Riverside Drive in Beloit. The Hot Stove Banquet will begin at 5:15pm with the social hour and silent auction. Dinner will be served at approximately 6:30pm and the program is scheduled to begin at 7:15pm.
The Beloit Snappers are a member of the Midwest League and are a Class-A affiliate of the Oakland Athletics. Opening Day at Pohlman Field is set for April 11, 2013 at 6:30pm, when the Snappers face the Burlington Bees, the Midwest League affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.
