Snappers Front Office Staff Set for 2013

Beloit Adds Three New Faces for Upcoming Season

BELOIT, WI - The Beloit Snappers have announced the hiring of three new Front Office staff members for the 2013 season. Mark Inserra will serve as the team's new Director of Media Relations, Natalie Tobey as Director of Community Relations and Robert Coon as Director of Food and Beverage. All three join the Snappers having spent last season as members of minor league organizations.

Inserra's first year with the Snappers will also be his second in professional baseball. He spent last season as the Assistant Director of Media Relations with the Charleston RiverDogs, the Single-A affiliate of the New York Yankees, in the South Atlantic League. Inserra is a 2010 graduate of Marist College and a native of Florham Park, New Jersey.

Natalie Tobey joins the organization after serving as a sales representative during the 2012 season for the Colorado Rockies Single-A affiliate, the Asheville Tourists of the South Atlantic League. Prior to joining the Tourists, Tobey interned with the South Bend Silver Hawks and at Valpariaso University. A native of Boone Grove, Indiana, Tobey received her undergrad degree from Purdue University in 2008 and her Masters from Valparaiso in 2010.

Robert Coon comes to Beloit from ESPN Radio and Backyard Broadcasting in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, where he worked as both a board operator and a radio announcer. Coon's 2012 season was spent with the Williamsport Crosscutters as a marketing and promotions assistant. He also interned with Base Productions in 2011. Coon graduated from Slippery Rock University in 2011 and is a native of Williamsport.

This announcement comes on the heels of the hirings of Director of Corporate Sales and Promotions Bill Czaja and Head Groundskeeper Zach Ricketts, both of whom came on board with the club before the new year.

Matthew Bosen is returning to the club for his second year as the General Manager and sixth overall with the club. Director of Ticket Operations and Merchandise Katie Petrowiak will also be back for her second season in that capacity.

The Beloit Snappers are a member of the Midwest League and are a Class-A affiliate of the Oakland Athletics. Opening Day at Pohlman Field is set for April 11, 2013 at 6:30pm, when the Snappers face the Burlington Bees, the Midwest League affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.
