Beloit evened up their three-game series in Fort Wayne at one game apiece with a 9-5 victory on Friday night. Unlike Thursday's contest, there was some late-inning drama as the TinCaps scored five runs in the sixth inning. However, the Snappers offense kept churning to collect fourteen hits on the night and score at least seven runs in all three of their wins on their current road trip. Beloit is now 13-1 when they score at least five runs in a game.

The Snappers got aggressive on the bases to get on the scoreboard first. Nate Mondou left first base on first movement from Fort Wayne lefty Will Headean to draw a pickoff throw, and Mike Martin broke for home and scored on a stolen base. After the Snappers opened up a 4-0 lead, JaVon Shelby cranked his fifth homer of the season, a two-run shot, over the left field wall. Luke Persico drilled a solo homer to left, his third of the year, to lead off the seventh. The Snappers are 7-1 in ballgames that they hit more than one home run.
Fort Wayne charged back against Dakota Chalmers, who loaded the bases in the sixth on a hit-by-pitch and three walks, and one of those walks brought home the first run. The big knock for the TinCaps was a three-run triple by Eguy Rosario that hit halfway up the wall in left-center field.
Beloit starter Matt Milburn hurled four scoreless innings, his second scoreless outing of the season. Milburn has allowed just one run over his last 12 innings working as the starting pitcher. Milburn, Chalmers, Nick Highberger, and Sam Sheehan racked up 14 strikeouts, the first time in five games that Snappers pitchers reached double digit strikeouts. Persico finished 3-for-5 and Mondou went 2-for-5 with a two-run double in the eighth inning. Beloit had multiple hits from five players and RBIs from six men in the lineup.
