The last time the Snappers played back-to-back extra-inning games was on July 31 and August 1, 2016 against Quad Cities.
Beloit and Peoria traded leadoff, solo home runs through the first nine innings. Luis Barrera finished 3-for-4 on the night. Nate Mondou hit a double as did JaVon Shelby to lead off the 12th inning before scoring the winning run.
Dalton Sawyer sparkled for Beloit through five innings with his second start this season with eight strikeouts. He hurled a season-high 83 pitches and allowed just two hits despite the solo homer allowed. Heath Bowers followed the lefty in relief and threw 3 1/3 innings of scoreless relief. Sam Sheehan threw 2 2/3 innings and stranded the bases loaded in the 10th inning. Beloit pitchers teamed up for 14 strikeouts.
