Bridgewater, New Jersey – The Somerset Patriots, the New York Yankees Double-A affiliate, will host Alzheimer’s Awareness Night at TD Bank Ballpark on Sunday, August 29th for their 5:05 pm game against the Akron RubberDucks (Cleveland Indians).
“Alzheimer’s New Jersey is pleased to partner with New Jersey’s Somerset Patriots as they fight for the Double-A Northeast Division Title,” said Ken Zaentz, President and CEO of Alzheimer’s New Jersey. “What a great way to end the summer season with the fun of baseball while raising funds for the New Jersey fight against Alzheimer’s disease.”

Alzheimer’s New Jersey will have information available on site, as well as be the beneficiary of that evening’s 50/50 raffle.
“Community engagement is so important to our work to raise awareness about the Alzheimer’s disease crisis in our state and to make sure our programs continue to be available for the growing number of families that need our help,” Zaentz added.
In addition to the Patriots game, the organization is also hosting a “Walk to Fight Alzheimer’s” on October 17th at 9:00 am at Duke Island Park in Bridgewater.
