The Nashville Sounds Baseball Club has added the 2017 LEGO Play Ball Tour to the promotional schedule over Father's Day Weekend (June 16-18).
For the first time ever, LEGO Systems, Inc. launched a 15-market tour of Minor League Baseball stadiums across the country during the 2017 Minor League Baseball season. The LEGO Play Ball Tour offers baseball fans an interactive building experience perfect for families to enjoy together before the opening pitch and LEGO fun during the game itself.
The tour kicked off in Texas with a 3-day stand in April, and is now crisscrossing the nation for five months with stops at thirteen Triple-A and two Double-A Minor League Baseball stadiums. Each weekend residency will offer multiple opportunities for families to arrive early for playtime before enjoying "The National Pastime." Participation in LEGO Play Ball Tour is included with game admission.
Each ballpark will designate an on-site play area where a LEGO play experience will set up interactive opportunities for kids to have fun before and during the game. Activities on the LEGO Play Ball Tour include building tables for creative play, family challenges, photo opportunities with large-scale LEGO models, and a chance to build and launch your own LEGO creations down a race ramp. In addition, there will be giveaways, prizes, and special in-game LEGO content.
Vince Rubino, Event Marketing Manager for LEGO Systems, Inc. states, "The opportunity for families to enjoy both the affordable fun of a ball game and a free LEGO creativity experience is a total home run. We are excited to bring this new way to play to stadiums across the country."
