Sounds Double Up Bats In Spring Action, 6-3

PHOENIX -- The Nashville Sounds doubled up the Louisville Bats, 6-3, on Monday afternoon at Maryvale Baseball Park.

Brewers ace Matt Garza made a start for the Sounds during a visit to minor league camp and allowed three runs on six hits while striking out five batters in six innings of work to earn the win. Casey Medlen, Michael Blazek, and Arcenio Leon all worked scoreless innings in relief for Nashville.

Third baseman Pete Orr paced the offense with a 3-for-3 afternoon that included three runs scored. Right fielder Sean Halton went 2-for-3 with a home run and a double.

The Sounds (2-1-1) continue their spring slate with a home contest against the Sacramento River Cats (AAA-A's) on Tuesday afternoon at Maryvale Baseball Park.
