South Bend Cubs announce upcoming game/promotion schedule

SOUTH BEND, Indiana - The South Bend Cubs have announced their next homestand of the season. The series is part of Armed Forces week, a special week of home games dedicated to the United States military service branches. Two Military Appreciation games over Memorial Day weekend offer a pair of free tickets (with ID) to any veteran or active military personnel. Throughout the 8-game Armed Forces series, the South Bend Cubs will host a food drive to benefit the Food Bank of Northern Indiana and other area food agencies. Anyone who donates food will receive a free South Bend Cubs ticket voucher to be used at a future game.
All homestand games take place at Four Winds Field, 501 W. South Street, South Bend. Tickets can be purchased online or by calling the Box Office at 574-235-9988.
Monday, May 21, Lansing Lugnuts, 7:05 p.m.

  • Gates open at 6 p.m.

  • Armed Forces Week: Tonight's game recognizes the U.S. Marine Corps

  • Armed Forces Week Food Drive: Anyone who donates food will receive a free South Bend Cubs ticket voucher to be used at a future game

  • Belly Buster Monday: All-you-can-eat hot dogs, peanuts and popcorn with the purchase of an $8 wristband. (Offer must be purchased with game ticket.)

  • Poster Monday: The first 500 fans through the gates will receive a collectible South Bend Cubs poster

  • Education Day: A special field trip day for select area schools

  • Armed Forces Week: Today's game recognizes the U.S. Coast Guard

  • Armed Forces Week Food Drive: Anyone who donates food will receive a free South Bend Cubs ticket voucher to be used at a future game


Wednesday, May 23, Lansing Lugnuts, 7:05 p.m.
  • Gates open at 6 p.m.

  • Armed Forces Week: Tonight's game recognizes the U.S. Navy

  • Armed Forces Week Food Drive: Anyone who donates food will receive a free South Bend Cubs ticket voucher to be used at a future game

  • Bobblehead Giveaway: The first 1,000 fans through the gates will receive an Ian Happ Bobblehead

  • Silver Slugger's Day: Seniors ages 55 and older can purchase a discounted ticket to the game. Plus, special health screenings

  • Strike Out Stroke Night: A night dedicated to increasing awareness of the signs of stroke, how to help save lives, and how to reduce the effects of stroke.

  • Home Run for Life: A patient from Beacon Children's Hospital is honored and will get to run the bases during the game

  • Fantastic Friday Fireworks: Begin immediately following the game

  • Flat Screen Saturday: Every inning, one fan in attendance will win a 50-inch flat screen TV

  • Military Appreciation Day: All active duty and military veterans receive two free tickets to the game. Must present military ID at the Box Office to claim tickets.

  • Sundae FUNday: Play catch on the field before the game

  • Post-Game Fireworks: Begin immediately following the game

As a reminder, the gates open two hours prior to the first pitch for all Friday, Saturday and Sunday games throughout the season. The 1st Source Bank Performance Center will be open during home games for all ticket holders.
About the South Bend Cubs
The South Bend Cubs are the Class A minor league affiliate of the World Series Champion Chicago Cubs. Over the past 30 seasons, the team has won five Midwest League titles, most recently in 2005, and has captured 12 division titles.
