Double-A Chattanooga has the best record in the Southern League's North Division and has featured 12 of Minnesota's 20 best prospects. It's only fitting that the Lookouts dominate the North's All-Star roster, too.

Seven Chattanooga players, including elite prospects Byron Buxton and Miguel Sano, were named to the Southern League North Division's All-Star team on Tuesday. The roster also features top prospects Jose Berrios (Twins/Lookouts) Kyle Schwarber (Cubs/Smokies), Tim Anderson (White Sox/Barons) and Frankie Montas (White Sox/Barons).

Buxton -- the top-rated prospect in the game according to MLB.com -- entered Tuesday batting .267 with six homers and 19 stolen bases. Sano, meanwhile, has 10 homers and a .253 average, which marks a dramatic turnaround after he hit .159 in April.

Beyond Buxton, Sano and Berrios, the Lookouts are also sending shortstop Jorge Polanco, outfielder Adam Brett Walker and right-handers D.J. Baxendale and Zach Jones.

Tennessee also features seven All-Stars, including right-handed pitchers Frank Batista, Corey Black, P.J. Francescon and Felix Pena. Beyond Schwarber, catcher Willson Contreras and first baseman Dan Vogelbach were also added to the North roster.

The league announced the coaches and umpires for the Southern League All-Star game on Monday. The game will take place on June 23 at Riverwalk Stadium in Montgomery, Alabama.

South Division update: The Biloxi Shuckers continue to be one of the biggest stories of the early Minor League season.

The Southern League announced the South Division All-Star roster Wednesday, and the Shuckers, who lead the division by four games with a 36-22 record despite playing only four games in their home park, led the way with eight selections.

Brewers top prospect Orlando Arcia is the most prominent name of the bunch and will start at shortstop after producing a .322/.373/.467 line with four homers, a triple and 17 doubles through his first 56 games at the Double-A level. No. 11 prospect Tyler Wagner also earned his way on the squad by going 5-1 with a 1.93 ERA and a 1.12 WHIP in 10 starts. The right-hander made his Major League debut May 31 against the D-backs and was optioned back to the Southern League the following day.

Other big names on the South Division roster are No. 15 Braves prospect Mallex Smith, who leads the league with a .341 average and sits third with a .420 OBP, and D-backs No. 3 prospect Aaron Blair, who is tops in the circuit with 76 1/3 innings pitched and owns a 2.59 ERA with 58 strikeouts in that span.
