A pair of returning favorites join a Hall of Fame pro wrestler on the State College Spikes' schedule of special guests and entertainment in 2017. Fans are sure to be thrilled with encore appearances from Cowboy Monkey Rodeo and the "Human Cannonball" this summer, and cries of "Hoooooo" and "U-S-A" will fill the ballpark as "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan brings his 2x4 to Medlar Field at Lubrano Park.

The dynamic appearances schedule starts when "The Bullet" David Smith, Jr. brings his record-breaking Human Cannonball act back to Central PA on Monday, July 3, when the Spikes take on the Batavia Muckdogs (Miami Marlins) at 7:05 p.m. After the game, Smith will fly through the night skies in a post-game "blast-off" presented by Happy 103.

Plus, the excitement level will rise once again on Saturday, August 12, when Tim "Wild Thang" Lepard and Team GhostRiders bring the Cowboy Monkey Rodeo back to State College. The Spikes are set to take on the Vermont Lake Monsters (Oakland Athletics) at 7:05 p.m., and the one-of-a-kind act featuring monkeys riding dogs herding rams will entertain fans throughout the night.

Fans can then step into the squared circle on Friday, August 25, when the one and only "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan makes a special appearance, presented by Comcast Spotlight. One of the most memorable wrestling characters of all time, "Hacksaw" will throw out a ceremonial first pitch before the 7:05 p.m. game against the Williamsport Crosscutters (Philadelphia Phillies), then sign autographs as part of a meet and greet with fans.

The fun also includes a pair of the Spikes' signature jersey auctions, putting the fun themed jerseys the club will wear at select games up for bids. The term "alternate jersey" will get a whole new meaning on Wednesday, July 19, when the Spikes get decked out in Conspiracy Theory Themed Jerseys for Salute to Conspiracy Theories Night. Fans can then do their part by bidding on the jerseys both at the ballpark and online in an auction presented by PSECU to benefit Children's Miracle Network.

In addition, the Spikes will be in the corner of those who have fought and continue to fight breast cancer on Sunday, July 30, when they wear special Pink Boxing Robe Themed Jerseys as part of Paint the Park Pink Night, presented by Mount Nittany Health. The jerseys will then be auctioned off in a "Jersey-off-the-Back" Auction, benefiting the Mount Nittany Health Foundation.

College students across Central PA can also enjoy even more value later this summer with the College 3-2-1 Special. Starting on Tuesday, August 22 and running through the end of the season, the College 3-2-1 Special will offer any college student ID at concessions and ticket windows the following special deals:
