Spokane, WASH. - The Spokane Indians are back atop the NWL North Division after snapping the six-game winning streak of the Everatt AquaSox. 4,535 fans saw the Indians take down the AquaSox, 5-3 on Wednesday night for Future Texas Rangers Night & Pre-Game LEO's Youth Clinic #2 presented by Viking Builders and 94.1 The Bear.

Spokane got on the board early thanks to an Austin O'Banion sacrifice fly in the bottom of the first. The score would remain 1-0 until the fourth inning. In his second at bat, O'Banion led off the inning with a solo home run to left. With two RBI on the night, the left fielder now has 11 RBI in his last five games.

The scoring output continued later in the fourth inning. With the bases loaded and two outs, Miguel Aparacio had a timely single to left that brought home Cristian Inoa and Kole Enright. Aparacio finished 2-3 with two RBI and one run. The Indians took a 4-0 lead after four innings.

The AquaSox plated their first run of the game in the fifth inning, but Spokane answered back in the sixth. Curtis Terry brought out the long ball once again and connected on his fifth home run of the year. The solo shot gave Spokane a 5-1 lead.

Everett drove in two more runs over the final three innings, but Joe Kuzia came in during the 9th to shut the door on the AquaSox. The righty picked up his first save of the season to complete a 5-3 Indians' victory.

With his mom and sisters in attendance, starting pitcher Tyree Thompson had one of his best outings of the season. He kept Everett off the board for the first four innings, and allowed just two earned runs in six total innings. Coincidentally, the two wins this season for the native of New Orleans have both come in six inning performances.
