Indians Get Banner Performance from Offense in Win

The Indians got home runs from Hunter Goodman and Mateo Gil and a strong start from Andrew Quezada as they cruised to an 8-4 win over the Emeralds in front of 6,594 fans at Avista Stadium for Marvel Super Hero™ Night presented by MultiCare and KXLY 4 News Now. Spokane

The Indians got home runs from Hunter Goodman and Mateo Gil and a strong start from Andrew Quezada as they cruised to an 8-4 win over the Emeralds in front of 6,594 fans at Avista Stadium for Marvel Super Hero™ Night presented by MultiCare and KXLY 4 News Now. Spokane improved to 16-17 in the second half and 50-47 overall with the win.

TOP PERFORMERS

Colin Simpson extended his hitting streak to 11 games with a double and also reached on a walk.

Quezada improved to a perfect 8-0 on the season by allowing just two earned runs over six plus frames.

Goodman finished 2-for-4 and got the scoring started with a two-run frozen rope to left-center in the second inning.

Gil capped Spokane's scoring with a long two-run blast in the eighth that put the game out of reach.

AROUND THE NORTHWEST LEAGUE

Top prospect Jordan Lawlar hit his first home run with Hillsboro (43-55) as the Hops topped the AquaSox (48-51) by a score of 9-4.

Vancouver (51-45) got a grand slam from Damiano Palmegiani in their 10-4 win over the Dust Devils (41-56).

Avista Stadium is home to the MultiCare Kids Bench Seat. Parking at all Spokane Indians games is FREE. The Spokane Indians office and team store hours are 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM on Monday through Thursday and 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM on Fridays. On game days, the office and team store are open from 10:00 AM through the end of the game.
